The aux light now works anytime the aircraft is airborne. I updated my other two batteries and went flying again today and tested that feature. I am happy with how it works but does not work as stated in the manual. It did not come on when landing as i hoped it would.
That's interesting.
I'm in Europe, and we don't have manual control of the light here, so I did a little test while flying at night. The bottom light here turns on during take-off, at maybe 0.3 m height, and is then on, until height of 7 m. Once I fly above 7 m, it turns off. When reducing altitude, it turns of, when I go below 5 m, and then off again when I go above 7 m.
When landing, it turns on, and stays on until the aircraft has almost landed. It turns off maybe a second or two before touching down. |
