Great shot David. Good that you had time for a quick stop there on your way north.
Our last (and only) stop-off there was about 7 years ago - pre-drone days.

Looks a bit rusty

As an engineering feat, one cannot deny the impressiveness of that. But somehow, at the same time, I do feel a bit creeped by it. Maybe part of the reason it catches the attention and wakes up feelings of respect.

I rarely go to funerals but I've never seen a choir singing at one.  I've always tried to celebrate life instead of mourning death.

I avoid them like the plaque usually,   some of the people at this one I last saw 12 years ago and a different funeral.

Long times between funerals is a good thing.  I like the saying "I hope I'm late for my own funeral".
