What data are police able to fetch from the drone

Hi,

I just returned Mini 3 Pro that Ive used bunch of times, to the shop Ive purchased it from.
I didnt unlink the drone from my account before returning it.
My brain started to worry about the following scenario:
The future new owner starts flying the drone and crashes it doing some damage and doesnt own up to it.
How realistic is that the police would trace the drone back to me based on the data stored on the drone itself?

Imagine if he kills somebody, instead of just simple damage... Leave the country now, while you still can... RUN...

If the drone is still bound to your account you can still undo the binding, in fact YOU SHOULD UNDO ANY BINDING, otherwise the 'next buyer' is going to run into problems.
All you need to do is connect the/an app to the internet and undo the binding there. If necessary this can be done using a App, freshly installed on a phone etc.. That app just needs to be logged into you DJI account and connected to the internet to do this.
What controller was returned with the drone?
There are logs stored on the drone but they have a limited life span due to limited storage space, meaning the oldest logs are over written as needed.
If you returned a smart controller then, unless you wiped or perhaps reset the controller,  there are logs on there but they individually time and date stamped.  As such those logs would show usage separated by time etc. and if you have paperwork showing that you returned the drone then it would be obvious that the drone was no longer under your control.

The logs stored on a smart controller can be read via computer by anyone. The logs stored on the drone can also be accessed via computer but DJI would need to decrypt them. If you returned a smart controller and think the app was still logged into your account then I would suggest that, on a phone etc., you log into the your DJI account via the app and then log out of the app. In experiments I have done logging out of the app on one device will cause the app on other devices to be logged out when those other devices are next connected to the internet,

If the controller WAS NOT a smart controller then, as far as I know, no logs stored on a 'dumb' controller.

When it comes to the controller it was a smart one (with the screen) and I factory reseted it before returning. I have already unbound the drone from the DJI app but im still kinda worried.

Why are you so worried about a drone. Only a criminal would be worried. Are you a criminal who use your drone for illegal stuff? If so, you should worried cause if the faa wants to track down the owner, their name, address,  phone number, home point, pilot location, drone location. They can easily do with remote id and serial number on the drone used in such illegal activity.

Hi, there. Thank you for bringing this up. To allow the second owner to enjoy the item, you must first unbind it from your account. Given that you did not unbind it on your account, the second owner will be unable to bind his account on the device and will have a limited flight on it. Could you please send us the serial number of the aircraft and the remote controller via PM so that we can confirm? Please be advised that the police can't track your aircraft. Tracking the aircraft will require the synced flight data via the DJI APP by the pilot and also the DJI account that the pilot flies your drone with. Thank you.

Dont panic about it,  any logs on the drone are encrypted and they would need to work with DJI to decrypt them.

Go back and read the post again.
You've missed the point entirely.
He's wondering about what might happen to the drone after he sells it, not about what he's done with it.

if the faa wants to track down the owner,

He lives in eastern Europe, so the FAA won't be at all concerned about it.

Thank you all for the answers.
Not sure why my question brings so much hostility. Police not always works with the presumption of innocence rule, especially when it comes to the new technologies. I just wanted to make sure im safe.
