Cheers Mr B,    it's a funny little place.    Ive yet to find out much about it.    Id assumed you could reach it by foot at low tide but that doesn't look feasible.

Overcast but dry is the forecast.   I just heard about it this morning as one of my IG connections posted about it,  I told SWMBOd and she had seen it on Facebook bit hadnt mentioned it as she didnt know what it was about.

Dont do the broken toe that could be painful.    I often use the search function in the app to find a place and then I get to see images of that place,  and then theres an option to sort by most recent.   Ive also done something similar with snapchat but thats not been very useful lately.

My neighbour who lost his (uninsured) Mini3Pro just before his holiday, bought another one. He showed me one clip he did in Crete.  Now I've got his YT adress, I see that he's been quite busy with it - and beaten me to Bamford Edge

hahaha,,    theres always someone that will beat you to it,  but at least if your flying over the town you now have plausible deniability that it wasnt you.

We're what you might call a drone hot-spot here.  Three guys within a 100 metre radius have five drones between them (me included)

You should have logged a flight plan first for our perusal - or at least have issued a NOTAM

Incidentally, it seems as though Archie may soon have a little brother nearby.  I spotted some earthworks upriver yesterday and when chatting with another passer-by he said he'd heard the rumour.
So I sent the drone up for a look, after filming what i could with the Pocket2, and it does appear likely.
They've already laid a road to the nearby substation.
Pictorial evidence to follow in a future post to the forum.
