Hi there DJI support,
How do I unbind my Mini 2 and its controller? Bought it second hand but previous owner also doesn't know whose email address is bound to the aircraft. I can provide the purchase order and my ID if needed.

Id ask the previous owner for a refund,  seems very suspicious that they cannot unbind the drone,  all they need to do is go into their fly app,  profile, device management and under mini 2 tap unbind.

Dji is completely worthless when it comes to this issue.   They absolutely refuse to unbind any drone that you do not have the original receipt for. I will never purchase anything from them again due to this issue

wow hold on, if you buy from them then you have the original receipt, if you lose it then you know the email address you used, so why does that make DJI worthless?

You do realise, that you not buying anything else from DJI ever again, will have no impact on the company what so ever, so it's a pointless statement.

Dji support won't unbind it, they'll ask you to provide the serial number of the aircraft, and they will send an email to the account owner and informing that there is a request for an unbinding the account from the drone with the corresponding serial number, so it requires the previous owner to log in to their dji fly app and unbind it. If the owner does not do so, you're stuck with no options.

Hi there,
thank you for reaching out.

Did you not read the email, the guy died.... im in the same situation with a mavic 3 pro, what would be great is if dji emails the account holder and if there is no resopnse within 7 days they should clear the serial ownership to make it eligible for binding to a new account..... is that to much to ask for?

What a stupid AI Natalia has... The guy writes that the previous owner died... but Natalia stubbornly advises to contact him. Natalia, tell us how to do this?
