DJI Admins: I have a basic question for DJI and that is why do you not offer a reasonably priced replacement for the USB access door on the Osmo Action series cameras?  Clearly it can be assumed that it will be a frequently required item for a door that is designed to be removed for various use scenarios.  Already there are users who have lost the door for their Osmo Action 4's and previously to my knowledge the Osmo Action 3's.  We should have a source to replace these easliy lost items at least as available as a replacement battery.  It borders on absurdity that this has not been provided to your loyal users of your devices.  Please address this!  Haven't lost mine yet but it's only a matter of time

Well. It sucks to lose the door. But it will come of if it's open. I have oa1+3 and i use mic with dead cat like 98% of the time. So i have them off, keeping them safe in my bag. So i only use doors in water.

DJI service and repairs will charge, $15.00 for a missing port door. noted on the Action 3   that a user missplaced.
Careful the Action 1 will not fit an action 3, but a Action 3 will fit an action 4 and not an action 1

Yeah, I tried contacting support for missing door on my action 4. That say they don't offer it for sale. So now I'm stuck with a worthless action 4. Guess I'll be going back to GoPro.. at least I can get parts for them. This is seriously fckd.

Revisiting this, as I've lost my cover.
Was using DJI Mic Receiver and somehow misplaced the USB-C cover.

Reached out to DJI Support. As I cannot located this cover anywhere, and not paying $50+ for it second hand.

Just barely 4 months of using, the USB side door just decided to come off by itself.

Yes it is gone.

Yes, im screwed.

Had to stop recording in the middle of the ride to safeguard the waterproof integrity. It was a great shame as we had so many wonderful moments not being captured.

If you need assistance with creating a ticket, you may contact DJI support at https://www.dji.com/support. We understand that this is not the answer that you look forward to, but this would be the best thing to do in this situation. In addition, warranty service can be claimed depending on the result of the Damage Assessment.

Guys, just stop using DJI and look for similar alternatives and it would end your agony.

These so call support just kick you around like a ball. You will asked to go here, go there, go everywhere but your problem is still not solved. End up ask me go online and get a 3rd party reseller to buy the USB cover door. My goodness, I cannot believe my eyes.

If I used a reseller part and in the event of water ingress, am I still entitled to warranty? This is ridiculous!

Lucky you!  I replied her requesting courier service to SG under my corporate account, and no more replies.

So bascially I have a useless "Action Cam" sitting in my office. And yes, my ride tmr will be Cam-less. I only have myself to blame.

I came upon this thread as I own two OA4s and the newest one is less than 3 weeks old.  I didn't lose my door but from Day of the purchase the battery compartment door is almost impossible to open.  It doesn't slide very well.  My other camera is perfect.  I swapped the doors to narrow down it wasn't the camera and it's the door itself.  It is very hard to push in each time.  I've contacted support and waiting to see if I can get a replacement under warranty.  I could still return the entire camera package back to the retailer under a 30 day return but that seems like a waste of time for everyone involved.  Hoping DJI will replace the door.

talk or chat with an DJI  rep these doors from them are no more then the $13.00 price  they can ship one out and a lot less then the actual fee they charge if they want  to keep a customer. seems these doors will not be sold for less then $40.00 online worse then a gas cap on a car

I lost my USB door and put in a service ticket.  The reply was stand by for a phone call.  That was a week ago, and no contact.
