I had a little cheap chinese Macro Lens for my OA1.
Anybody knows if this is already available for OA4 somewhere? Couldn't find anything so far.

There is no available yet, and I doubt there will be any.
But it is possible to make one ourself, just do some MacGyver fix

Yes, it would probably just need a tiny step-down-ring / adapter, but I'm too lazy to fiddle around with an article for less than 15€ ;)

good luck the OA5  was  too blurry around hte edging for me

Have actually been looking into macro filter myself, possible to buy a cheap 46mm +10 or so and just make it fit with 3D printed an adapter or something.

It is possible to adjust the cams own lens to near focus, so you would be able to use the OA4 for macros.

I also really hope they make one soon, it would really open up some opportunities if you could adjust focus

when DJI makes one, it be in the DJI store, they more or less let the 3rd party do them.

I also really want a macro adapter for the Osmo Action 4. The zoom factor is what I’m after more than the close focus distance. Even in dewarp mode I still end up with videos I can’t use for serious purposes because of the distortion. Would be nice if DJI provided a zoom lens that focuses on the middle of the optical range where there’s little or not distortion.

Please tell me more about how this is to be done. I tried to use my OA4 to livestream a nest of hummingbirds, but the minimum focus distance was so far, the footage was uninteresting- Just looked like a bunch of leaves. I really want to be able to focus close with my OA4.

I hope there's a macro lens for their new camera soon. I'm normally not a macro guy but thinking of some fun video projects and this would be great and fun to have. Just seeing what their competitor released today has me thinking of maybe going that route.

With a fixed-aperture lens, any 'macro' is going to be seriously challenged... when you get close, you really need decent depth-of-field, and these cameras just cannot deliver that at close distances.  Even shooting at f11 on a 100mm macro lens, you'll notice that the end of the nose is still not in focus. I had to go down to f22 to get that.

+1 for a macro lens/adapter for OA4. would make great use here.
