I installed the latest firmware update on my mini pro 4, after this I was unable to use the zoom on single shot photos. Does anyone else have this problem and does anyone know how to fix it?

Yes I also cant use the digital zoom (using thumb wheel) when in single shot photo mode. I get a message something like "this operation is not supported" but tbh I haven't tried any other method. Not sure about a fix. Any updates?

I also note that the gimble up/down seems counter intuitive  expected right to move down as in righty tighty, lefty loosey.

I am having the same issue. Any fix for this issue yet @djisupport? This is the second flight I could use zoom before the second flight now getting a message "zoom not supported in this camera mode"

Is the camera set for 12MP or 48MP ? In the last case zooming is impossible.

You can zoom with 12mp just not 48mp

That's unfortunate but also good to know.  

It makes sense, as it's only a digital zoom so you will reach the same result just manually zooming in on a 48mp photo

This depends, Manual zoomin on 48mp by default will be done on a JPEG file (as JPEG is default format for M4P) so You are zooming in compressed / lossy format.
I assume M4P does zooming on RAW uncompressed data, so it might have a better effect (less artifacts caused by compression).

I cannot use the zoom function either. It’s useful for framing and would really appreciate help. I use the 48mp setting

I too discovered just today that zooming in on still pictures isn't working. Same error message as others here have. Wish this could be fixed, as zoom is the best way to quickly frame & show details in still photos. Only updated software 3-4 days ago, and as a newbie I can't say if that's where I lost it. Hope it can be fixed.

I put on 1 x zoom. And it just goes to 3 x zoom without touching it
