My biggest reason for wanting to use my OM6 is to be able to use the ZOOM wheel.  And I want to be able to zoom from .5x all the way to the maximum (video) zoom of 15x.  Yes I know about picture degradation when using digital zoom, but it's part of my life.  I create wildlife videos EVERY DAY that include a .5x zoom to a 15x zoom.  Most of these videos are watched on small screens, so there's no complaints from my viewers on the video quality (In fact, many marvel at the quality of the zoom.  I don't tell them it's digital zoom and they don't ask.)

I have ordered an Insta360 Flow that will be here today.  It's my understanding that it will zoom through the whole range, even digital.  If it won't, I will return it.  I am an embarrassment-level DJI fan-boy and would prefer to use my Osmo Mobile 6.  Am I missing something, or is this 8x zoom (which has to be partially digital zoom because the "big lens" on the iPhone 15 Pro Max is just 5X) a hard limit?  I've tried it on my iPhone 15 Pro Max, my iPhone 14 Pro Max, my iPhone 13 mini, and even tried it on an off-brand phone (Samsung S20).  What say you?

Well, my Insta360 Flow arrived, and you can zoom the whole range on the iPhone 15 Pro Max from .5x to 15x zoom.

i can only agree with the problems.
have the app up to date and also the firmware. wanted to use the osmo mobile 6 with the iphone 15 pro max. does not work
app is freezing again and again. it also comes the message that the app can not start the camera. or it does not work the zoom function.

I am having the same problems with the zoom.  Any idea how to fix it?

I have the S23 Ultra, and just discovered after the last software update it will actually zoom to 10X and use the 10X optical zoom lens, but not go any further than that. Interesting that you get some digital zoom on your "big lens" lens.
