Pocket 3 Clamp for GoPro mount....

If anyones interested,  here's the files to 3d print a clamp to mount your pocket 3 to the normal 3 prongs of a gopro mount.


Its designed to be slightly oversized to allow room for 2mm self adhesive felt to be applied to the inside to protect the Pocket 3 from scratches etc.

Is there any discernible vibration when driving along?

Thats to be determined to be honest with you.   Im hoping that in hyperlapse mode this would be ironed out.

Have you prototype tested it yet?  It does look very sturdy.  I wonder if that would work for use on my ebike?

Yes,  it was tested twice yesterday,  I posted an example in the works section.    Two things came out from it thought,   2X is too smooth for a hyperlapse,  and the file size was crazy 10gb for a 12 minute test,  which is insane.

looks great, miss only a cold shoe mount (better two, one on each side)

I don't have an 3D printer, but if one sell this thing, I would it buy ;-)

Yeah, that is an insane file size for sure.  I was watching the videos and it seems you need to find a happy medium between 2X and 10x.  Although the clamp seem to work great and the video appeared very stable.

Sure,  its attached to this post.  Dont forget these are designed to have some self adhesive felt inside and without it they are a sloppy fit.

I made one a little beefier, and it seems to work in my car. This is a 100% fit, what means no space for felt, because i don't have any, and when the dashboard gets hot, the glue will probably melt.

Looks like a functional design. Awaiting myself for a GoPro prong adapter I modified from an existing one, hoping to add more mounting possibilities and to be able to connect multiple accessories to my Pocket 2.

It really looks great, but doesn't the plastic without felt cause any abrasions on the P3's casing?
