Pocket 3: My morning walk....

So short walk this morning due to having to be home by 7am for a car collection that could be anytime between 7-5 grrr.      Thought Id test my pocket mount for the pocket 3.

That is a very good low light performance!
Now you just need to practice the ninja walk (or get a Z axis stabilizer to hold the P3, not sure if that will work with this mount)

Not as good as it is in Timelapse mode sadly,    but not a bad first test.

Excellent first test of the pocket mount DA.    Even in low light the OP3 performs quite well.  That's quite the long window for pick up of the car, seems like they could narrow it down from 10 hours.  

This experiment shows that it's missing the forth axis like the Ronan 4D... Much better when you set it down or in the car.

They did call as they left the depot with an ETA.   It’s now waiting to see the estimator. The guys that collected gave it a 50/50 chance it will be written off which will be very upsetting.

That might help but still it's common problem that gets emphasized by speeding it up.

In timelapse mode it exposures better in the dark,   if you look at the video the end of the walking part goes dark and then it fades into Timelapse mode where you can see much more.  It then fades into some drone footage.

Ouch, hopefully that doesn't happen.

Should hear Friday whats happening.   Im not going to be amused if they make it a total loss for a minor rear end bump.     Especially when it's a no fault claim too.

Well, it 'can' go slower. Where with regular video, they usually stop at double the framerate. Sometimes you can go as low as 'the' framerate.
But with timelapses they can go to 1/10s etc.

There is just a physical limitation to the shutterspeed with video.
It can't go slower than the framerate.
Where you don't have that limitation with timelapses.
So my guess is that your video has 1/25s as a shutterspeed (or 1/50s even) and the timelapse probably went as low as 1/5s unless you set it to manual.

Depends,   it's a combination of making sure that SWMBOd is up and the desire to catch the sunrise.   Ive always found Im far more productive if I start early.

When I was working I would get to the office between 6 and 6:30am when most people started at 8am and I could do entire mornings work in that first 1.5 hours,  mostly due to the lack of disruption.
