i wish the pro got the new video resolution. 60mbs 2.7k would be really nice.

Wouldn't this be like complaining that the advance didn't do 720P? This is an UPGRADE not a downgrade...

I dunno but 2.7k @ 48fps sounds nice. I was hoping for it..maybe someday...hopefully

Exactly.  The encoder can handle 60 mbs.  So if we had more options it would be nice to have higher frame rates or to just be able to pick the resolution.

If you compare it to a GoPro, both 2.7k and 4k are ~60 mbs  For higher motion video 2.7k still at 60mbs would deliver a crisper image then 4k at the same bitrate.

None of them can.  I think you are confusing mbs (Mega bits per second)  and FPS (frames per second)

its about fps as 4k is only 30.. the low bitrate is bad enough
