Shot on Pocket 2, only postprocessing was resizing the picture to fit on the forums. Could have probably made it look better with RAW and some post, but didn't get around to do it yet.

That is exactly the city that gave its name to the (at-least-once) famous phones. The company existed even before they started making phones. And the city is even older, located between Sastamala and Tampere in Pirkanmaa.

I also have a funny story to share about this. When Microsoft bought Nokia's smartphone division, there was a kind of a funny protest by some joker around the Nokia city. At that point, they looked for the traffic signs saying "Nokia" (related to the name of the city) and the distance towards the city - and plastered another sign over the name of the city that said "Microsoft" instead. The city removed the new signs, but the person in question repeated this action at least a couple of more times. I guess they wanted to rename the city to reflect the changing times

Id assumed Nokia was the source of Nokia the phone company,  but thats a great anecdote the signs,  I will enjoy sharing that one.
