As a new Inspire owner I'm a little concerned about how hot the batteries are after a flight.   As an avid RC builder with quite a bit of Lipo cell experience my understanding was always that if a battery was coming down overly warm then the motors were drawing more amps than the battery was rated for.  This condition generally leads to early Lipo failure.  How are the Inspire batteries "OK" to be this hot after a typical flight?

how hot are they? how hot is it outside when youre flying?

They can get pretty hot under load and depending on the ambient temperatures. Has not been a problem so far that I am aware of.

As Paul said mine comes down pretty hot, like a hot cup of coffee.  I will track the temp next time I fly.   It's just strange because it flies in the face of everything we've always known to be true when flying lipo's with standard RC . planes, quads, etc..  If the battery is this hot then the C rating is too low for the power system.
