I’m a frequent flyer - sometimes several times a day. This recently resulted in Mavic 3 batteries (which came with a Cine model) reaching their design life (reaching <75% capacity remaining ).

My big question now is - how many flying hours does any Mavic 3 remain reliable and safe to fly ?

It should go without saying that I conduct scrupulous inspections regularly, but should I be concerned about components like motors lifting out ?

I've looked through many sources. Regarding the designed lifespan of the DJI Mavic 3, there isn't direct information available from the provided references. However, generally, the lifespan of a drone can be influenced by various factors such as the frequency of use, maintenance, and the flying environment. The DJI Mavic 3, as a high-end compact drone, is mainly targeted at wealthy hobbyists, professional video creators, and landscape aerial photographers. This suggests that its design and manufacturing likely focus on high quality and durability to satisfy the needs of these user groups.

Typically, DJI drones can last for several years without hardware failures, though battery performance may degrade gradually over time and with the number of charge-discharge cycles. Since there is no specific data on the expected lifespan or durability of the DJI Mavic 3 in the materials, it is recommended that users follow the maintenance and usage guidelines provided by DJI to ensure the longest possible service life of the drone.

Thank you, Daniel - you've reached the same conclusions I did myself, but I'm hoping that DJI can provide a more authoritative answer.  I use Airdata to track all my flights and I maintain a strict maintenance regime, as required by both the manufacturer and my national regulator.  I'm already on a second set of batteries and want to be quite sure that I am unlikely to suffer a major system failure related to another critical component of the drone.
