quick video on setting up Zip Line using waypoints, for the ones who are upset that it was not included in the upgrade, or say that a 3rd party software can do this, or 3DR can do this, bla blah blah

Excellent job!  Who needs cable cam, which is just single directional, when you can do the same thing with a waypoint, adding as many turns and height adjustments as you want!

well zip line has its uses(BTW it is 2 directional), for example, a sporting event such as soccer or football.

Ray, if I understood yesterday's comment correctly, you have to be careful to NOT go so far as to fly to one of the waypoints while going back and forth, because when you do, the mission is over?  Or, can you go to the end and come back again?

you can go right to the maximum ends. when it reaches one end it stops and then you go back to A and it stops but the mission is not over u can keep going back and forth as you can see on the video.

I believe you can also use the throttle to change the height as you 'zip' along the line? Have you tried?? (Just to keep you busy )

no u can not change height once you initiate the mission.

I want to fly backwards while going down a hill without worrying about crashing into anything.  Is it possible to set up waypoints like that yet?

absolutely, there is one good example of when to use it. just make sure u setup the correct height at each point A and B so there are no obstruction in between

u dont have to worry about going off the zip line this way, or crash into something, if you set it up right!!!!

Great!   I could not try it.  Raining!  Then wind gusting like crazy.  I cannot wait to try it.

It is not the just wind it is the gusting of the wind now that the rain is clearing out.   I have a project in  mind for the zip line feature.  I was going to use just way points but this setup will be much better.

Remember to set speed to 0 and heading to free. And set the heights b4 u initiate as u can't change height once started

using course lock does not give you the ability to draw a line in the air and taking into account altitude changes between the points.
