Agree, there were more mismatches and used accessories from current Avata and Goggles, therefore I have to deleted already. But Avata 2 & Goggles 3 seems to be real...

Always excited for a new DJI drone but was hoping for a successor to the DJI FPV first.

I have a general rule, no buy new DJI drone for 1 year or so post launch.

Hope for more speed in sport mode with the motion controller. Otherwise not interesting for me.

That's interesting, but I'm waiting for at least a year.  When the new O4 comes out, maybe I'll consider the goggles when building a new 5in just to avoid the added weight of a GoPro.

Once released i think i will leave it for 6 months and then consider my next move.... been bitten a few time with new drones and issues they sometime have at launch..

So interested!!! Been saving for this

Me too! It will be a hard pass IF there is not at least compatibility with the Controller 2.

I sure hope they moved the SD card slot to make it easier to access in this model.

Yeah, would be something I think many of us would enjoy.  Would remote ID now in full effect and all the other FAA rules/regulations it just gets a little much at times.   Though, doesn't look like the Avata 2 will be a sub. 250gram drone.

I be excited to get that, to pair up with my Mavic 3 Pro. Also wasn't the Avata the answer to the FPV drone, in terms of improving on it.....so isn't FPV permanently done with moving forward? I don't know what purpose FPV would be alongside Avata at this point.

I'm super curious too, but I'm already pretty happy with the Avata 1 and don't really miss much, except maybe better camera quality and especially DLog-M. So, for now, when I'm shooting for clients, I slap on an Action 4, which, for its size, delivers awesome footage that can be graded to match our other cameras pretty well. Of course, it makes the drone kind of sluggish, but it's still pretty useful for slow Cinewhoop shots. But if the Avata 2 has similar or even better image quality, I'm buying it day one, no question.

It's gonna be really interesting to see how DJI classifies it for the EU, though. C0, under 250g, seems far-fetched, but even C1 has its downsides with the max speed limit of 19 m/s. So, that leaves C2 as the only option if they don't want it to fly less dynamically than the Avata 1. Of course, that means you'd need a remote pilot's certificate if you don't plan on flying it in the middle of nowhere. I've got mine, but C2 would definitely narrow down the target audience.

Pretty exciting stuff.

Looks more like a cheap knock off than a DJI drone.
Goggles 3 a total failure if they did not learn anything from the Goggles 2 mistakes too.

Definetly it's not going to be a sub250 grams drone, but I hope to see one in the future.
