Hello every one,

I just bought the avata 2 and I am new to FPV drone. I also bought the FPV remote controller 3.
Before flying, I want to train on DJI virtual flight but I am unable to connect the googles 3 and/or the DJI FPV remote controller 3.
I am trying on Android phone or on PC...
Does anybody have a solution for me?

DJI Virtual Flight seems to be EOL, no updates anymore.
DJI recommends the flight simulator built into the DJI Store App.
But you can control the Avata 2 simulator only via touchscreen, no Goggles 3, no MC3
No idea what kind of magic mushrooms some DJI Product Managers smoke...

At least the remote controller works on Android. But not the googles.
I hope a third party will propose a solution for avata 2 trainings... Or at least to be able to train with the googles 3 and the remote controller 3...

RC3, the joystick looking one with two control sticks. It's a standard USB HID device, so should work like any other USB controller.

FPV remote controller 3 with virtual flight on Android.
I've connected the remote directly to my phone and it works well.
Application is crashing quite often but that's still acceptable.

Sadly that doesnt seem to work on iPhone though.  

I am sorry for you. I am pretty sure there will be solution soon for us.

This is really not good news. I also just received the new controller 3 and Avata 2 and I first want to train. So no solution except Android, which I dont have

How did you connect the RC3 to android?
I connected the controller using a USB type C cable but it doesn’t seem to work.

I use the cable in the Avata 2 box. I connect the phone directly to the remote controller, not to the goggles.

It supports it via USB since Android will just recognise it as any other game controller, and those are supported.

Same issue here - disappointed that I cannot train virtually after purchasing DJI Goggles 3 and RC Motion 3.  DJI, please update the app or provide a training simulation app that is available for these products.

Ive been practicing fpv on my samsung s24 ultra for some time now. I used to use an xbox series x controller until i got the controller 3 which i use my USB type C cord to connect the devices. The app i use is called fpv freerider and it works well. I just wish there were more maps to practice on, although the provided maps do allow one to practice gaps and fast manuevers. I would recommend this for the controller 3. I have been able to fly my avata 2 in manual mode with some warranted confidence because of this setup and i hope it helps you!

Come on DJI, how hard is it to update an unreal engine app to connect to a new controller! push it to github, I will do it myself!

i really do not know, why dji is so stupid with compatibilty issues?!!! i always have problems with connecting hardware to virtual flight. i never could manage to get this work… even with the newest stuff. This unbeliveable… DJI sucks!!

Exactly! But DJI is giving the  S H I T  on it. It is the poorest company regarding good service support and taking care about compability.

DJI come on. You can do better !!!

Is any update about that? Is in the roadmap to add the feature of virtual flight for the Googles 3?
