Dear DJI,
can we please get an option to purchase just the Air 3 aircraft without an RC? I'm sure there's plenty of people with existing controllers (especially now that DJI Goggles 3 and RC Motion 3 support this aircraft) who would love to own it, but don't want a spare controller that will just be e-waste.

I've seen too many horror stories about DJI drones that weren't unbound from the seller's account when sold so it's basically a brick after a few flights if you can't reach the seller again and it's hard to explain to ebay/paypal chat bots that you want your money back because you did receive a drone but it's not useable even though it technically isn't broken. I'd consider used market locally where I could inspect the drone before giving money, but I live in a small country and there's not a lot of supply. I'd also prefer to just buy new and purchase DJI Care myself without worrying about technicalities etc.

I agree, Ebay is full of scammers. It is counter productive to sell only drones + RC's.  There are thousands of professional drone pilots who have a desk or closet full of spare RC's.  Yes please offer us an aircraft+ battery option!!!   This will definitely show good will on the part of DJI and meet EU demands for a decrease in E-waste.

+1 for drone-only option. I can only justify it in my case because I will have two drones, and would maybe want the possibility to fly both at the same time with a friend, otherwise the second controller would be a backup. More than that becomes questionable at best.

Please offer drone only option.

Out of about twelve older DJI drones that I bought used on eBay, I was only sold one bricked Phantom 3 Standard, and there was also one Mavic 2 Pro that turned out to be non-existent after I paid the seller.  After some back-and-forth debate, eBay refunded the price of that Mavic 2 Pro thus honoring their Buyer Protection Program after the seller closed his account and slipped away.

The remaining DJI drones I bought on eBay are still flying like new, and my latest addition to the fleet is an Air 3 that I am having a blast trying out.
