Hi guys,

Quick question for you, the TB65 batteries are said to be good for 400 charging cycles, I'm just wondering what counts as a cycle?

If I get back from a job and use the charging station to put them to 50% for storage, would that count as a charge, or is it only counted when they are fully charged?

Any info about this would be great, thanks in advance!

Hi, Qbert111. Thank you for reaching out. The battery cycle will be counted once when the battery level is 75% consumed of the capacity as mentioned in the official manual, including consumption by the battery’s self-discharge.

Is there a way to see how many cycles the batteries have gone through? I found info for DJI Fly and DJI Go but not for Pilot.

Con el Pilot 2 es posible ver el número de ciclos contabilizados en cada bateria.  La figura muestra los datos de dos baterias TB65 conectadas a un Matrice 300

Hi guys! I'm not sure I'm at the right place. I have a firmware issue with a TB65 battery. According to the charger box, one battery of a pair has a lower firmware level. If we try to update it, the update completes, but the former version of firmware is written out. So that the UAV is not able to take off, because of the message below. Is it a software bug, or anything else that I miss? Thanks!

The error message does not mention the firmware but the battery model. Are you using two identical batteries? not the former model ?

No, they are identical. And I have used them many times together before.

Can you send a screenshot of the Pilot ( flight view ) > Battery > Details screen?

The UAV doesn't recognise one of the batteries, although we are using the same type. It is beeping for a firmware update for the 'bad' battery, but the update fails when I connect the RC to the UAV.

Weird it doesn't recognise the right as a TB65. Did you install TB60 FMW on it? To be sure it's a TB65? :-) The SN is also missing, not sure if you can reinstall battery firmware.

Looks like a faulty battery management unit memory failure. You are good to send it to DJI for repair/replacement. If the battery has less than one year, claim a warranty.

If you have good relation with your enterprise provider they are flexible :-) most of the time. Also you have over 80 days at full charge, unless you are in SAR I don't see the advantage of that the difference between 90% and 100% is not really noticeable IRL. But for the lifetime of the battery it makes a lot of difference.

I validate this two point
