The first shot from my recent travels....


Although we had somne issues with the language barrier,   we did find that the chip shop was being staffed that day by someone from Essex.

Oddly it's close to black pool airport but not under its zone.    The yellow zone is just a warning for a railway,   no actual restriction.  

And funnily enough there was a guy on that white paving in front of the tower advertising drone services.

Lol.  we did have chips.   Not the best weve had though,  thats still Brightling-sea I think,   SWMBOd is on a mission to try chips at every sea side town to find the best ones.

That was the first day DT,     it was a lovely day,  shame we spent 8 hours driving in the car.  But we stopped at a couple of places on route,   more to follow.

8 hours is a bit too much driving/riding time in one day but some days you just have to do it.  Looking forward to more postings of your holidays.

It was broken up into 3 segments and I had a self driving car for the big roads which really takes the effort out.

It is surprising how the self driving mode takes the effort out on long runs,   only works on big roads though so no country lanes and you still have to keep an eye out for idiots.    Im looking forward to the day I can get in the back and have a virtual taxi take me somewhere.

That day may not be too far off for both autonomous cars and helicopters.

I wont be surprised by that,  I saw an advert the other day that Ford had approval here for full self driving with hands off the wheel on the motor way networks here.    They call it Blue Cruise and of course its a subscription.

Sounds a lot like the Tesla self-driving subscription service.  Although, he is facing an uphill battle recently in several states getting driving laws changed.

Yes very simular to that,   Im not sure their initial outlay is as high,   not really looked into it as I wasnt planning on a Mach E.

We struggled there to understand,  but the guy in the chip shop was from Essex so we had a good laugh with him about that.   Oddly they only had one size of chip portion.
