Others have reported this, but the other threads have no solution.

I have the Osmo Pocket 3 connected to my PC. I'm using a powered hub with a 3A power supply to ensure that there's enough power. The Osmo Pocket 3 is fully charged anyway, showing me 100%.

But it keeps reconnecting to the PC every 40 seconds. I've opened the windows Event Viewer and found, under Administrative Events, that there's a DeviceSetupManager Error (Event ID 131) every 40 seconds. - 16:40:54, 16:41:34, 16:42:14, 16:42:54, 16:43:34 ...


Every 40 seconds. Clicking on one of these, under General in the pane below, it says:

Metadata staging failed, result=0x80070490 for container '{3862B2AF-0ABB-5105-B693-96ADDF8511FE}'

It's very annoying — bleep-bloop-bleep every 40 seconds even though the camera is turned off and fully charged.

Hopefully a fix can be found.

Mine also has the constant connects and disconnects, both when charging and when trying to use it connected to a laptop.

I got exactly the same issue. Is DJI going to fix it in new firmware?

Action 5 pro the same wit hte pocket 3 windows issue  one said Lol.

Checked and observed for few more days. I found that if the camera is at complete shutdown state, the issue won't happen.
But if the camera is just in sleep mode, it trigger the issue. So I guess the camera is sleep and wake up every 40 seconds.

Any thoughts DJI team?
