Hi All,

Just opened a brand new (literally delivered from Amazon 3 days ago) Mini 4 Pro. Fully charged both drone and controller, updated firmware, and the message that appears on the controller screen in RED...


Camera Lens Error, Restart aircraft. Contact DJI Support if issue persists after restart.


Error is 1C000310.


I have checked and double checked that firmware is up to date. I have updated FlySafe. I have restarted the aircraft 5 times, I have allowed it to cool down and restarted a 6th time, still the same error?

Edit. I should have added, it is brand new out of the box with this, never flown.





Please help?

Wow, not one reply!

I have read in various sources that this was/is a common issue with the Mini 4 Pro.

How did others overcome this?

Thanks, but I've organized a return to Amazon, as the drone is only 4 days old. Brand new out of the box and an error such as this (which cannot be fixed) is very poor, especially considering there are many many reports of this with the Mini 4 Pro.

I'll stick with my Mini 3 Pro, super reliable, and seems more solidly built than the ropey 4 Pro.

You guys need to sort this issue out!

The gimbal appeared to be disconnected on one side because the rubber support had snapped, but I ordered a replacement on Amazon and fitted it today. I thought I had fixed my drone but this “camera lens error” appears and my drone camera won’t focus anymore. There appears to be no damage to the camera itself so I can’t see why this is happening.

The impression I get is that this drone (Mini 4 Pro) is crap...simple as that.

If you're lucky enough to have got one without this error, then you're very fortunate as it seems to be a common issue, with this drone only.

DJI need to sort this out.

Luckily for me, I will be returning the useless piece of junk to Amazon.

Hi All,
I’ve bought 1 DJI mini 4 pro from Perth. I’ve flown it couple of times everything went well. Then bring the drone on holiday supposedly to have beautiful memories. As I supposed to make videos of my birth country during my five weeks stay

But unfortunately on day one for my first flight on holiday I got a massage appearing in red camera lens error Restart aircraft. Contact DJI support if issue persist after restart

No crash and not any water damage was reported and it’s flying well but all the videos and photos taken are very blurry. All the firmware updated and yesterday spent 3 hours with the support assistant and I’m still waiting for fixing the issue

There’s some dji seller here but it would be great if dji fix the issue or replace the faulty drone. I don’t want to spoil my holiday .

Please help.

Selling lots of drones but  no authorised DJI repair / diagnose service provided in  many countries. . It seems like lots of people like me has been screwed with their drones for the same DJI camera lens issue. The after sales services are crap in certain countries. DJI drone is being sold but when issues happens no DJI authorised technician available. WHAT A SHAME..

Hi all,
I’m still flying and enjoying the mini 4 pro despite having camera lens error. I’m still taking videos and it is a little bit better and less blurry than before. Hopefully if someone from DJI can help me to edit the video through any new technology, AI or any apps to make it look better .  Or anyone can suggest me how to improve the video.Thank  you

I just ran into the same issue.. I’ve had my drone for over a year, and I’ve put it through some heavy use. It has flown into trees, but I’ve never had a problem until now. I haven’t used my mini 4 pro in several months, so I got it out, turned it on and it seemed fine, but since it has been a while I updated the RC controller firmware, the drone firmware and the maps. After that I took it outside, turned it on, and found the “Lense Error” alert in red at the top of the screen. It also seems the camera isn’t focusing on anything.

I have no idea if it was previous damage or the firmware update that caused this, but after several restarts I’m not feeling optimistic.


Luckily I have dji insurance in the drone so I’ll be able to get it repaired or replaced, but I wanted to post here just to the report the problem on forum.
