Can anyone tell me if you can record the Inspire 1's gimbal position when setting waypoints, using the Consistant with Record option? I would like to be able to set 'key frames' at the waypoints and let the automation do the in-betweening for me...

No you can not set and record the gimbal position as part of the way point setup. Sorry

Thanks Dave, that's a pity. A supplimentary question, if I may... If I record a waypoint with the camera pointing east, then fly to another position and record a waypoint with the camera pointing west, will the Consistant with Record option give me a smooth pan from east to west between the waypoints by yawing the aircraft?

Yes that should work. Although I have to say I have not tried it myself.
