More Galeon......


Tried to get some new shots of the Galeon before it left,   after a long wade out near the end of the pier the flight was cut short by the aggressive birds  .

Despite the pesky birds that shot was well worth the effort to capture that amazing replica galleon.  .

It seems to have drawn out quite a few drone pilots too.  At least I keep getting asked where to take off from.

For fun I told the last one to get a boat.

It quite unscientific but they do appear to still be keeping a bit more distance,   previously they were triggering the OA on a frequent basis,  since the tape was added I dont think theyve done that once.

I pointed out that, if we caught the bus to Buxton, and then a second one to the restaurant/pub, that would work.

Assuming they flew legally it's a long way to wade out at low tide.  about 1 mile.
