I'm having an issue with my DJI Mic 2 and a hot shoe adapter.

The Auto ON/OFF feature for the receiver isn't working properly when I use it with my Sony ZV-E1 camera (or any Sony camera in general, I have 4 different Sony cameras available).

The problem:
- The receiver doesn't react to the camera's power state at all.
- It doesn't turn off when the camera is off.
- It doesn't turn on when the camera is on.

This Auto ON/OFF feature was actually a major reason why I bought this product. Right now, it seems like the receiver just doesn't care if the camera is on or off.
I installed the latest firmware for the receiver and both transmitters - it didn't help.

Unfortunately, no, and I see that DJI support team is just not doing its job...

I'm having the exact same issue with A7 IV, What's going on DJI? When the fix will come?

DJI can you clarify what is happening and how to fix it?

Now December - any solution or fw update please !?

Wow, still no progress on this common issue? I just got this adapter for use with my A9III and was surprised to learn this useful feature is not working. DJI Support please make this a priority, it is impacting many users.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out and we do apologize for the trouble caused. When the DJI Mic 2 receiver is connected to a camera via a 3.5mm TRS cable, you can enable this function. The receiver automatically powers on and off in sync with the camera.

When the camera is powered off or audio recording is not enabled while taking pictures, the receiver will automatically power off. When the camera is powered on, the receiver will automatically power on.

To enable this feature,  swipe down on the DJI Mic 2 receiver's main screen, enter Receiver Settings, swipe left, tap Power On/Off with Camera Simultaneously, and select ON.
