As per the subject, I have a RC 2 controller I will be using with the Neo fly more, so I'm looking for a hard case with the controller space big enough to accept the RC 2 instead of the RC-N3. the only options I can find a soft case or bags, neither of these work for me.

I wish they just sold the bag from Mini series Fly More Combos separately. The one from Avata 2 FMC is way too big for Neo, even when carrying all the FPV equipment. But it might work for you if you want to have some spare space for extra stuff https://store.dji.com/product/dji-sling-bag

They say in about 15 days they will be on Amazon !!
I use the RC-2 as well .

I got a DJi shoulder bag for mini/mavic, and I got genuine one, that is smaller than replacements from aliexpress. Original have 24cm length and „replacements” have 27cm.You can still find it on Amazon, but ensure it's genuine.

Goggles, controllers, neo, and sunshield fits perfectly, and still a bag is small sized.

Repurposed the Avata2 case for the Neo.  Purchased a "hard case", not Pelican style hard designed to carry the Avata2 kit.  Should be similar cases sized for the Neo available or becoming available.

they don't make a bag because they don't sell the RC 2 with the neo (as a combo)

Just a thought.  No case included with the Neo Fly More kits due to the wide options for controllers that work with the Neo.  Or for some the Neo is just an autonomous "selfie drone".  Guessing relatively high volume of sales of the Neo worldwide.  Should be more and more soft to rigid to hard cases available specifically designed for the Neo and options for various controllers. Worst case you can purchase a hard case with pluck foam or the higher density foam for user customization.   What I have done in the past for the DJI drones and TXs.  
For those who are looking for a soft case.  Have found the Avata2 case adequate for the Neo and the hardware used to fly it.  Holds the Neo, batteries in the charging hub, MC3, FPV RC3, Goggles3, spare and maintenance parts.... No need to dig around. Bit extra space. Enough for another set of batteries in a charging hub.  The big but...Would not pay the MSRP for the bag. JMHO, another overpriced DJI accessory.
