I would like to capture a time lapse starting around sun rise time without the need of setting up an alarm in my phone, wake up and record it. I can't find any option such as timer/set start time ... when I go into time lapse mode. Am I missing something ? or is this a not supported feature at the moment ?

No timer/wake up function of this type on the action 5 but would be a useful addition.
