Hi,

We just ordered S900 and wish to have a separate control for the camera.

• One control for the flying
• Another just for controlling the Z15 gimbal and GH4 camera
  

Our local DJI dealer is unable to help us with this since they have no experince what so ever.

Is there any manual for setting up this kind of system or do we just have to figure it out ourself?
Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi,

There are different configurations are available:

1. S900 + A2 (include Futaba receiver) + Z15-GH4 + receiver for gimbal + DJI 5.8 downlink. Note, that you need Futaba transmitter to control S900 or you have to mount your own receiver to S900.
2. S900 + A2 + Z15-GH4 + Lightbridge. You only need two transmitters like Futaba, Hitech etc. We use such configuration two weeks. It`s great!

Junglerto, you can go the trainer port of your Futaba radios to control your S900 and Gh4.
Details, pls go through DJI website for Light Bridge user manual and instruction video.

As Terry said, you must read S900 user manual, flight controller quick start guide (use A2?), GH4 user manual and Lightbridge user manual. Briefly, you must go through these steps:
1. Connect your flight controller to S900 frame.
2. Connect Lightbridge air system to your flight controller to transmit control signals.
3. Connect Lightbridge air system to GH4 gimbal to control the gimbal and transmit HD-video from gimbal to ground-monitor (or mobile device).
4. Connect Lightbridge ground system with transmitters by trainer cable (included).

We have completed the build and now have a fully functional S900 with dual control. Everything is fine but we cannot get the image to show on HDMI monitors from the Z15-GH4. All the wiring is 110% correct but the image does not show on the monitor. Lightbridge has been tested (tested it with GoPro + HDMI cable) and it works fine. The GH4 camera's image comes to the Lightbridge transmitter through the gimbal cable. Could this be the problem? Another possible problem is that I do not have the Lightbridge app so I cannot test the USB connection... is the Lightbridge app required for the HD image from Z15 gimbal?

Are you still having good success with this set up?  What is you video stream look like?  Clean, clear and to what distance?
