Does anyone know DJI mini 5 pro Release Date?

DJI probably do,   but we dont even have rumours for that you.    Im hoping we see it by March 2025.

Air 3S first and then maybe Mini 5 Pro.  I hope when it comes out it has a larger sensor.

Now DJI just has to figure out how to put a larger camera sensor on and keep the weight at 249G or below.  I guess we just have to wait and see what kind of magic they can pull off.

Theres no telling with DJI,  the Mini 4 was a September launch,  the Mini 3 Pro was in May.   Nothing has hit the FCC database which is usually a good indication that somethings coming 1-2 months time.

March or April timeframe would be a great pre-summer weather launch time.

Id be very happy if they mirror the Mini 3 Pro launch, that was a big update unlike the 4,  so hoping the 5 will also be a big update.   But I think we see Mavic 4 before then with a MASSIVE price hike,  and two O4 units.  a big and a small.

I wonder where there biggest profit margins lie?  I'd think they must sell a ton more Minis than full size Mavics.  Oh well, we can only guess about that and DJI will never tell.

Biggest margin Id wager was the mavics,  but bigger overall profit would be the mini drones,  they are selling 10x of those to the Mavics.

My buddy that is a Manager at a local BestBuy said the best selling drone to date was the DJI Mini 2 based on overall quantity that they sold.  He also said the Air 2S sold extremely well also.

That wouldnt surprise me,   they did keep selling the 2 for a long time after the Mini 3 was released.

No doubt the Mini 2 was a game changer for DJI.  It was a huge improvement over the original Mini and drone flying got a lot more popular when the Mini 2 came out.  I'm hoping the Mini 5 Pro will be a game changer in it's own right.  Only time will tell.

Fingers crossed for that too or I will pass it by again.    My Mini 3 is doing well enough and I should get another year out of the batteries I have left.

My only complaint with the Mini 3 Pro is I hate to have props that require being screwed on.  So much easier to change props on the Air 2S and Air 3.

So far, knock on wood, the Wowstick has worked wonders as the bit fits perfectly.  I always check on the screws to make sure they don't have a heavy coating of loctite on them before I screw them in. No doubt someday my luck will run out though.
