There are some complexity to how the V2 works and how you update it.
Do as follows

Switch your V2 goggles into FPV Drone Mode, you access this from the About menu.
Then update the firmware via Assistant 2 for FPV from that mode. |

After the update you should have the Avata and O3 mode Appear.

I don't have an ( About Menu ) in my goggles.

If I remember correctly it was the lowest menu so I always switched to the menu and then moved the joystick up, press, up again (if my muscle memory serves me right.
I don't have my V2 anymore so I can't check.
I suggest you answer directly to the people you want to answer to then they get the message...
Good luck.

Go to Settings -> Device -> Switch to DJI O3 Air Unit.   Then reboot to the DJI O3 Mode.  Press the bind button on the Goggles V2; you will hear beeping.  Then press the bind button on the O3 Air Unit.  There will be a confirmation beep when it binds.

If you don't have the "Switch to DJI O3 Air Unit" option, choose "Switch to DJI FPV."  Plug the Goggles V2 to your computer and update the firmware using DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drone Series.)

Once your Goggles V2 is updated, they will be in the DJI FPV mode.  Switch them to DJI O3 by selecting Selttings -> About -> Switch Aircraft Model -> DJI O3 Air Unit
