Recently I change my mic set to DJI Mic 2, found out it don't have a mode that auto delete the oldest section record to keep record new one.
Is it possible to add this mode? Thanks!

Yes please add this feature. I got used to it using the Rode Wireless GO II and now I really miss it using the DJI Mic 2. It adds some extra reliability to the product and gives me the feeling nothing can go wrong with a production.

Also if possible add an option to not have long recordings split into multiple files. This is a nightmare in terms of using internal recording.

I understand that in a mode without split files ; when storage is full recording will stop. I can live with that. But having to join multiple audio files which have even sub second dropout between files is terrible (especially without time code).

If you do a sync point at the start of recording you are all set until you have a micro pause between files!


Sure in post if you are dealing with interviews you can sync based to internal camera. But for music or ir anything else which a software sync may struggle with this can be really problematic!


Even removing micro pauses is going to improve things but best option is really just to have an option allowing for long take single file.

Sorry to hijack the thread. But both options are really helpful depending on the situation.
