Hello, I have a DJI Phantom 3 Professional that I have had in storage for a while, I attempted to update the firmware but the drone updates for about 7-10 minutes and then seems to freeze and screeches, the message on the report says 'update failed try again' I have tried around 20 times, I have formatted the SD card and even tried to 'downgrade' the firmware but to no avail, is this a common problem and can it be repaired? phantom 3 service discontinued as of last year, basically it cannot connect to wifi and thats what others are saying too.

Thank you, I do have wi-fi and the drone does fly, I have no live video feed at the moment but I'm getting a new lead so hoping that will fix the feed problem, it's just that the update will not finish.

ah ok, have you tried connecting to assistant and upgrading fw there?

There is no DJI assist for Phantom 3 only for 2 or 4!

yikes, sorry cant be of more help then, maybe try DJI livechat see if they can help there
