Hello Everyone!

What is the standard flight time of an intelligent flight battery under normal conditions?

I had done a hyperlapse waypoint just this morning. With 78% battery in it.
done a 17'33'' flight. from 78%-8% until forced landing.

my question is, is the flight time a normal one? or is it should be more than that minutes?

Aircraft is updated. RC is updated. and my battery has just 10 cycles in it.

Hope to read everyone's opinion.

Thank you very much!

Hi there,

Thank You for reaching out. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience you are experiencing. The maximum flight time for DJI Mini 3 Pro is 34 minutes when using an Intelligent Flight Battery. The maximum flight time claimed on the DJI official website is based on lab data measured in specific conditions.  However, during an actual flight, due to environmental limitations (temperature, wind power, and air pressure), aircraft speed, and other factors, the maximum flight time may decrease to different levels.

Check is battery level changes suddenly (the battery level change can be checked in the DJI Fly app). For example, the battery level changes from 80% to 30% suddenly. If there is such a change, please send the battery back to the factory for testing.

I hope this information has helped to clarify your inquiries. If you have any other questions, kindly let us know. Thank You!

This is normal, in real conditions the flight on a new battery is about 20 minutes, maybe less, it depends on many conditions, flight mode, wind, temperature and other.

Sounds about right,  although best practice is always to start a flight with a full battery.

Not to open a new thread - does using an Intelligent Flight Plus battery on the mini 4 Pro introduce automatic software restrictions?

In other words, will the DJI app suddenly ask me for more documents and clearances as the drone is over 249g?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Gamora,

Everything is fine with my battery and drone.
I am just asking if that flight time given by my battery with 78% is just about right.

Thank you for your inputs.

From your 100% battery, you only got 20minutes flight time? Is this in normal weather condition?

Yes, i just forgot to charge it before the flight. But this is noted.

Thank you for taking time to reply.

I guess this depends on the country you are in.
I have a battery plus, but i can use it. As long as you are on a fly zone area.
What does your flight controller prompts?

Yes, of course I don't discharge the battery to 0%, the remainder is about 15-20%. This is under normal conditions, if you use the sport mode or hang motionless for a long time or if there is a strong wind, then this value will decrease.

This is in Croatia, and drones over 250g require a drone pilot license etc, so that's why I wonder if DJI took these country-specific weights into account to introduce an automatic soft lock.

Regarding battery life that others asked about - yes, 100% is not 30 mins as advertised, in real conditions it's always a bit less.

Important to know: batteries will self-discharge when unused! If you don't use your drone for longer periods, take the time to recharge the batteries before flying, or you'll be in for a very short flight and lost nerves

Different countries have different laws regarding drones. yes, that's why DJI introduced this below 250g drones so that, a lot of users around the world can hold of this and experience having a drone camera.

I noticed that too. Marketing strategy. though, that's fair enough time. I have tried lately to have at least 30mins flight time. weather condition is in normal. pretty impressive.
