Hello,

I own two Osmo Action 4 cameras and I'm a fan.  The  first one I bought new about 4 months or so ago, so still basically new to me.  While out using this one today, the USB-C cover door went missing.  My theory is that I did not have it closed all the way and the wind caught it and off it went.  User error, lesson learned to double check, etc.  If that's not what caused it, I'm not exactly sure why it came off.  

Anyhow, I hit the DJI site and was surprised to see this part is $42.00 before tax and shipping, or about 16% of what it cost to buy a new camera on Amazno.  Was hoping this little replacement part would be a lot cheaper and have one digit to the left of the decimal point.  Alas.

Any alternative approaches parts others have found? Or better sites to buy the part?

Agreed.  That's why I'm asking for any potential alternatives.  Crazy price.

DJI actual price for the door is and their mark up

I just had to get a door and it was 39 bucks from a drone part company....absolutely ridiculous.

I ended up contacting DJI through their support. They put me in touch with some other internal group and they sold me the door for $15 +8 dollar shipping.  I Received and installed it with no problem.

  they really do work with you on  making you a custoner
