I've used a dji mic set with 2 transmitters and one receiver for recording talks for ages. So far I always used the output from the receiver as my source audio. But I'm looking at using the recordings from the separate transmitters. A typical talk will take up 3 files on the transmitter recordings and I use the mic for different purposes - one of them is pinned to the speaker. The receiver is plugged into a laptop and its output fed to Zoom.
What I'm finding is that between one file and the next there is a small gap - i.e. a little bit (one or two seconds) of audio is missing from the recording (its not missing from the receiver output, just from the files recorded on the transmitter). Since this is obviously related to the processing speed of the transmitter and speed of the sd memory on the transmitters (it not being fast enough to switch to a new file output without losing some audio data) I'm wondering whether the dji mic 2 would be any better at this (because of presumably being faster - as it will record 32 bit it must be faster).
It also occurs to me that the dji mic algorithms might have improved to lessen this "file-closing,new file opening" delay.
I may have posted this in the wrong place - if so please tell me - I couldn't find a section for the dji mic.
Best wishes
andy
