Hi there. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Make sure Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and location service are enabled on the smartphone.
Note: Some Android phones can set the Wi-Fi permission separately for different apps. Check the Wi-Fi permission setting for DJI Fly on the smartphone, and make sure the permission is enabled.
2. Check if the device is in the linking mode with the remote controller. (DJI Neo in this mode cannot be connected via Wi-Fi.)
3. Check if this device was connected to another smartphone before. If DJI Neo was connected before, turn off the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on that smartphone, and then shut down the DJI Fly app to make sure they are fully disconnected. Then it is able to connect DJI Neo to the new smartphone.
4. DJI Neo only supports Wi-Fi on the 5.8 GHz and 2.4 GHz frequency bands. If the Wi-Fi of the smartphone is on a different frequency band, it will not be able to establish a Wi-Fi connection with DJI Neo.
5. Check whether all permissions of the DJI Fly app are enabled.
6. Choose aircraft Wifi in phone's Wifi list and connect to this Wifi manually (need to input Wifi password manually)
7. Enable “Fixed 2.4 GHz” in the QuickTransfer Band settings by following the path: Enter DJI Fly - Profile - Settings - QuickTransfer Band - Fixed 2.4 GHz. But if APP not has this option, we can skip this step.
8. Restart the smartphone and the DJI Neo.
9. If you have remote controller, please connect the aircraft to RC and change Wifi name in DJI Fly App and test again: After changing the Wi-Fi name on the DJI Neo, restart it.
10. Make sure the firmware of DJI Neo and the DJI Fly app are the latest.
If you have any questions during the operation, please feel free to contact us. |
