DJI, meet the Brick.

It would be nice that the firmware and software could be plug and play. Purchase a chip, install, restart and go fly.

Updated.. Flown, nothing special.. Apart fro the below, can't see much change.

Don't use the Android App much so not sure if the Gain/Expo changed between this and 2.20 version. Think its the same..

Do you know if the drift issue was fixed in this update? I haven't noticed any problem with mine, but sure some that do have the issue are wondering too. (Never mind. That would be a firmware issue.)

Still 2.2 on the DJI download page?

No, I think that will require a firmware to fix..

I have experienced the issue but only when taking the P3 in a straight line fro 200+ meters. In close manoeuvring its not noticeable, for me anyway.

Just checked and the reason for the large file size is because the file is an XAPK that contains an OBB version of the app as well as the APK version.

Differences seem to be related to the X5

So is it even worth getting? Any "fixes" that we've all said on here? ie.. video link, straight line flying issue....etc..

99mb...?!?  Where did you get your copy?!?  The Android version I just downloaded from the DJI support website was only 49.6MB (or did you get the IOS version?)

How do you set it up that way? I have updated to 2.3, but I can't move the map window to the right and I can only toggle between compass or map

It just display that way without going into any settings after you update the go app.

On my Shield with the new version 2.30 I still have the Maps/Radar screen on the left side bottom requiring me to toggle to get the different views--no change from before-same on my Note 3--How do I fix this??

I soon as you open the camera view that's how it appears with the split view there's no tricks just update the goapp to 2.30? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dji.pilot

My phone updated itself early this morning.  I opened it and looked around, but haven't flown yet.

The last update sea to finally works well on Tab 4.  If it's not broken I ant fixing it .

No didn't have a split view before the update it's odd you don't have it after updating!

I am still struggling with the issue of the Maps/Radar screen being together on the lower left of the Go App requiring toggling to get the different views on my Android Nvidia Shield with the latest version 2.30 of the app--

I believe before in earlier versions of the App they displayed separately

Anyone else seeing this? or do you have the Maps on the right and Radar on the Left and if you do how did you get this to view this way?

On my IOS devices Mini 3 & 4 and Ipad Air2 they appear separately as they should--

I have both an I1 & P3 Pro

With android you have an option to disable auto updating of you apps.
The default is Enabled.
To disable the auto update go  in 'Play store' -  Tap the 3 horizontal lines a the top left corner  (Menu) - Go in Setting - Set the Auto-update apps to ; Do not auto-update apps.
By the way it s not a .bin file it should be a .apk file for your android device.
I am using latest version of Lollipops.
