Recently MasterAirscrew released orange Avata2 propellers.  Ordered a set mainly for the orange color allowing easier to find when crashed.  Hard to see a black quad in the underbrush of the woods and tall grasses of a meadow.  Even using Find My Drone and setting off the ESC beeper.  I'm deaf in one ear.  Sound direction is difficult.

Enquired about Neo propellers.  Received an email noting they are working on the development and release of a propeller for the Neo.

If like the Avata2 a four blade prop.  In theory the fourth blade assuming same pitch should deliver more thrust at a given motor RPM.  So at equal thrust output the motor should be able to spin at a lower RPM.  On paper if the added torque, mass, and tip turbulance are not significant negatives.  Maybe better flight times and a quieter quad.

One aspect I like about the MasterAirscrews are their polished finish allowing for easier detection of fine stress fractures.  In the old days after a couple  mid air propeller failures I became a bit obsessive in inspecting the blades.  One suspected stress mark. All four propellers were replaced.  Fixed wing you had a chance of a dead stick landing.  Quads just crash hard.

I was unaware that MasterAirscrews were manufactured in the USA. Initial though was MasterAirscrews are a bit expensive even relative to OE DJI propellers. You need to factor in USA development, labor, and manufacturing costs.  Also was unware about the companies long history.  Not just some "overnight" maker of accesories for a hot selling product.

Low noise props are just marketing. MA props are just trusty props for less money than the DJI ones. But if you are looking for a quieter Neo, yeah, it's not going to happen.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience using MasterAirscrew propellers. Just a friendly reminder that DJI does not recommend your 3rd party accessories on your DJI product or modify your DJI product. These 3rd party accessories might affect the DJI drone when in use and there is a possibility that these 3rd party accessories will be able to work. However, since it's not yet optimized and tested by DJI we cannot guarantee the stability of the said 3rd party accessory if it will work all the time with no issues and might damage the said DJI product and can void the warranty of your DJI Drone as well. Thank you.

I hope this helps with your concern. Thank you for your support and have a nice day ahead.

Yes, I've seen this response before in other threads.

Only one concern if the MasterAirscrew(MAS) Neo propellers end up being 4 blade design like their Avata2 version.  Additional torque load on the motors from the extra blade and mass.  That's assuming identical pitch and surface area per blade.

On paper if identical to the stock Neo propeller but with one additional blade there might be an increase in max speed in manual mode at a given motor RPM.  If tip turbulence is identical the additional blade tip turb. may result in minimal improvement. People have noted extra responsiveness in the Avata2 MAS.  Seems bit counter to what should happen with the increased mass of the 4th blade.  Assuming the MAS are heavier.  Flight times might improve if the MAS deliver more thrust at a given RPM.  Probably real minimal if any based on the Avata2 MAS v. stock.  Same for sound volume.

Probably will stick with the Neo propellers unless there is significant improvement with flight times with the MAS.  Did order the Avata2 MAS when they released the orange color. Just as an aid for spotting a downed Avata2.  The whitish Neo is much easier to spot.  That is, until the snow covers the ground. Normally apply a conformal coating (CorrosionX) for winter into spring flying.  Not really something you can do with the DJI UASs.
