Carbon props just arrived.  Got them from RC geeks in the end as although the same price was just so much cheaper for the shipping even with my dji store credit points.

Got the day off today and did go out with the Phantom but although its dry its quite windy so dont want to take any risks.

They feel very stiff compared to the standard props - I was kind of expecting them to look a bit carbon fibre associated with cars with a kinda texture but they are matt and smooth which is no problem at all.

I have read that they are a bit more responsive than the standard props but any tips or things I should look out for While I am sat here hoping that the wind dies down?

Well I took them out this afternoon and to be honest cant tell much difference but it was still quite windy - will do a better test on a calm day.  Did manage to do some point of interest shooting.  Getting  more confident every day
