Evening All,

I've had a quick look through the forum room but can't seeanything that's exactly relevant to the problems I'm experiencing, I've got aPhantom 3 Pro which arrived early August, I updated the firmware to V01.02.0006for both the RC & Aircraft before taking my first flight and its worked lovelytill last week!

On starting the RC & Aircraft I received a message onthe DJI app saying both items needed updating along with the camera, theaircraft would fly and work perfectly fine apart from the automatic settings onthe camera didn't work and all the images were overexposed but this wasn't aproblem as I just used the manual settings.

On arrival home I downloaded the latest firmware V01.4.0010for the Aircraft extracted the Zip file placed it onto the Mirco SD card andthen turned the Aircraft on, the update ran fine as it should for about 15minutes but then failed with the red light coming on the camera and a constantbeeb. I checked the 'P3X_FW_RESULT_AB.txt' which also stated the update hadfailed not a problem I thought I'll just turn the Aircraft back on and tryagain but after 13/14 seconds just the same thing! I've since formatted the SDcard and tried again with the same problem, after 13/14 seconds I get the redlight and constant beeb. This also happens if I try putting a previous versionof the firmware on the SD card 'as if' the Aircraft doesn't recognise its gotanything installed?? In the background while all this was happening I alsoupdated the RC to V01.03.0020 from V01.02.0006 which worked fine.

If I place a different SD card in the Aircraft it seems tostart as normal and connect up to the remote and then after warming up it'llupdate my home point and give me all my Aircraft statistics but no live feedfrom the camera and it'll say 'No Signal' across the top of the screen. I knowthe camera is working correctly though as I can take a photo using the app (aswe normally do, or video) this is downloaded to the SD card as normal which Ican view on the computer.
I've not spoke to anyone at DJI yet but they said via theonline support it maybe because I'm using an iPhone 5S on ISO 8.1.1 so I'vesince downloaded the DJI GO app to my Samsung Tab 4 with exactly the sameresults.

Anyone got any ideas? Can I remove all the firmware off theAircraft and start again from scratch as I believe it's crashed halfway thoughinstalling and is now stuck in limbo not knowing what to do. Can I downgrade?If so how?

Thanks Oliver.

I have the same no signal problem, but my phantom "successfully" updated to 1.4. Dji still has not responded to my support ticket after 6 days

Tried the update to V1.3.20 same problem just fails on updating after a few seconds as per video;

http://www.the-light-police.co.uk/Videos/IMG_5366.MOV

It must be possible to revert it back to factory firmware somehow?

You are using the SD card that came with the Phantom? You have a full battery?

oliveropt123,
  On the SD card that performs the update, there is a DCIM folder but also DJI puts a hidden MISC folder. If you can turn on viewing hidden file & folder. (MAC OSX) or (Windows)
Inside this hidden folder are four hidden folder (IDX, LOG, THM, & XCODE). If you look in the LOG folder there is a detailed log of the update with all component results. Take a look if you still have the SD Card, or try another update and perhaps post the logs....

Same exact problem. P3 will take no upgrade no matter what version or what I do to the SD card. Check my log with yours...

Same problem here.  I've been at it for the past 5 hours, trying to upgrade my new P3 to 1.4.  Always fails with the same Packet upgrade failed at version checking.  I've retried about a dozen times now.  In the last attempt, I connected the controller and the upgrade process seemed stuck for over an hour with the recurring beep-beep (as I was watching my battery draining).  I aborted that one a just put a fresh battery in, disconnected the controller and am trying again...
I should add when I first powered up DJI GO, I did get the camera view. Even with the message about the firmware upgrade on screen, I could snap some pics and record a video; so it's not as if the actual unit is deffective.  The upgrade process however...
