I tested ND filters this morning for the first time. I used ND16, and manual camera settings (30fps, 1/60, WB5500). My test is in my yard at home where the drone moves in and out of direct sunlight. Because of this, I assumed that the correct ISO setting was Auto, so that at least some overall exposure matching could take place between sun and shadow areas. Is that the correct way to handl this type of mixed-light environment? If I was in either total sun or total cloud cover, I would probably set a specific ISO (100) and set my ND and other manual settings appropriately. But if I had done this in the mixed environment, either some of my movie would be underexposed or some overexposed, right? I've watched a number of videos this week about setting up using ND filters but none that I saw addressed a mixed light environment. Thanks for any insight.
