Hi all, within the same flight I make several clips (2-3 minute ones) all in 4k. When i play the videos at home on the PC I see that first video is perfect 4k quality, then the next two videos are in very low quality (it looks like it is blurred) and the last video is again 4k perfect quality. The low quality videos have the size of a normal 4k video in gigabytes and also file properties show the same details as a normal 4k video.
It is so frustrating as you go somewhere to shoot a long planned location and you are happy with the footage you record and then it turns out half your footage is not usable.

I'm attaching two screenshots from a two videos taken minutes apart without any change in settings and within the same flight (no landing or changing batteries in between)

Any ideas what is causing this selective, sporadic, inconsistent behaviour?

H there, thank you for reaching out and we do apologize for the inconveniene caused. Mavic 2 Zoom features the spherical lens. Due to the optical properties of the lens, it’s difficult to ensure that the edges and the middle area of the footage will have the same resolution. Thus, it is normal that the edges are a bit blurrier than the middle area of the footage.

Please check whether there is any foreign matter on the camera lens. If yes, please wipe it with a soft cloth and then shoot again. If the issue persists, please reset the camera parameters and then shoot again. If the issue still cannot be resolved, please submit an Online Repair Request and send your aircraft back to DJI for further diagnosis.

Thank you for your understanding.

The problem with your explanation is that the two screenshots I sent you are both in the same flight without the drone getting down. If there was any reason to switch to lower quality it got resolved by itself when I stopped one video and started recording another within the same flight. You see these two screenshots are both form two different videos - the low quality one was before the high quality one, which means something up there happened to make the drone first record Low quality and then record high quality without me adjusting anything or even landing in order to do anything. This is why I wonder what could cause this to happen without any kind of adjustment or change by me.
