I am assuming that the Inspire has a compass.
Is it a requirement to perform a Compass calibration before each flight?
As you have to do with the Phantom?
Or has it been made redundant with the use of more sophisticated technology?

Sorry if this question has been asked before, have looked but couldn't see such a Thread.

Ref page 54 of the draft manual, calibration requirement appears to be the same as the Phantom:

IMPORTANT: Make sure to calibrate the compass in every new flight location. The compass is very sensitive to electromagnetic interference, which can cause abnormal compass data leading to poor flight performance or even flight failure. Regular calibration is required for optimum performance.

Is there any way to get access to this draft manual to take and early look at things?

There has been some talk about mounting a FPV camera on the nose of the Inspire.  I will say that would not be recommended as the compass is mounted in the nose of the craft.
