Yes, this will work but only using the Mic Mini receiver connected to the Action 3.

Please make it so the Mic Mini Two-Level Active Noise Cancelling settings can be changeable from the DJI Mimo App when only using the Mic Mini Transmitter or available to be changed from the Osmo Action 4/5 settings menu.

Thanks for your question.
Osmo Action 3 does not support connections to DJI Mic Mini transmitters over bluetooth.
DJI Mic Mini transmitters only can be connected only to Osmo Action 4 and Osmo Pocket 3.

Thanks for your question.
1. Yes, the charging case can charge the transmitters which is nothing about the receiver.
2. Regarding the DJI Mic Mini Transmitter Bluetooth Connection to Phone:
a.Turn on your phone's Bluetooth;
b. After powering on the transmitter, long press the pairing button for 2 seconds to switch the transmitter to pairing mode;
c. Go to your phone's Bluetooth list to search for available Bluetooth devices, find DJI Mic Mini, click to connect, and your phone will prompt a Bluetooth pairing request. Check the access permissions after pairing and click to pair.

Will this work with RcPro?

I wanted to be one of the first motovloggers to review the new Mic Mini in our situation. Unfortunately, DJI have let me down. Ordered on the 26/11/24 with a despatch date of the 27th, and delivery on the 28th. That has happened, no update email. So phoned them up, still not very helpful. I always promote DJI products, and know many people have bought after watching my video’s. It will be hard for me not to share my thoughts on buying direct from DJI in my mic mini video when I do eventually get to use it on my motorcycle. Seriously not happy

Hello, currently, DJI Mic Series has not completed compatibility and adaptation for use with DJI RC Pro. In initial testing, connecting the DJI Mic Series receiver to the Type-C port located at the bottom of the remote controller allows the recording of audio from the DJI Mic Series transmitters while using the controller's screen recording function.

* When using DJI Mic Mini for recording, there is no need to remove the RX to directly play back the screen recording with audio.
* Recording via Bluetooth connection is not supported.

* Remote controller will not combine the audio with footage recorded by drone, if this is what you want, please use post-editing software to combine them.

If you have already purchased these devices and encounter any issues during use, please record the process and send it to us for further feedback to our engineers for confirmation.

Same question. I’d like to use the mini mic with the mic 2 receiver.

I love the small size

Great product, little dissaponied how you have to update the firmware using the lightning connection. You have to bluetooth the devices to your phone to get the updates, not an issue but unlike other brands its not seamless.

Thank you for your feedback and sorry for any convenience this may cause. Regarding the problem of connecting the receiver to the firmware upgrade on the iOS system, due to the protocol restrictions of the iOS system, it is currently not possible to upgrade the firmware directly through the adapter. To ensure that you can use the latest firmware, it is recommended that you follow these steps:

(The RX and TX need to be upgraded separately via Bluetooth.)
1. RX: First, turn it off. After it's off, long press the power button for 6-8 seconds until the indicator light turns blue, then release it. Open the Mimo app to search and connect.
2. TX: After turning it on, long press the frequency pairing button to enter pairing mode. Once the phone successfully connects to the TX via Bluetooth, open the app to upgrade the single TX firmware.
During the upgrade process, the indicator light will stay yellow. After the upgrade is complete, the LED will turn off and restart, so just wait for it to light up again.

It looks like the Action 4 supports only one Mic Mini via the integrated wireless connection. This is quite disappointing because I bought a 2 mic combo. In addition, the internal mic of the camera is disabled when wireless is in use. Renders the application useless when working with a partner.  The USB-C receiver does not fit either with the Action 4 housing installed. Even without the housing, the receiver is in the way when operating the camera. Will there be a firmware update for the Action 4 to support two Mic Mini? Please update your marketing literature to accurately inform buyers.

This answer is not accurate. The Action 4 supports only one Mic Mini and the internal microphone is disabled.

Why did you make it so these MiNi Mics are not pairable to the DJi Mic 2 receiver.
