DJI mic Mini came out so could be part of the update reason:  so lets open the  Mimo and  see what it says after all these gray thumbnails I see;

• Added support for DJI mic mini, press and hold the linking button on a DJI mic mini tx for 2 seconds to link.  Then go to system setting. wireless mic to select the microphone . Osmo Action 5 Pro can connect up to two Txs simultaneously, supporting both DJI mic 2 and DJI mic mini
• Added support for  recording 4K4:3AR in timelapse mode
• Added support for customizing the function of the Quick Switch button.  Go to Control center.Quick Swirtch Between Modes, Start/End, Pre rec, or lock screen.
• Added an Opttion in Settings to disable the Always On display feature in single-screen preview
• Added support for super slow motion videos in a 4:3AR.  For  video recording in 16:9AR and 4:3AR at 100fps or higher you can select a specific point during playback and tap the snail icon to generate up to 32X slow-motion video
• Added support for the UVC standard
• added support for importing sports data to the DJI mimo App (V2.1.8 and later.  You can import sports data recorded by apple , huawei and droid, and smartwatches from garmin, megene gpsport, suunto and coros
• fixed some minor bugs

the check list is in the folder of our camera, misc. but no one knows the bugs sorry

4:3 aspect for ordinary video is still not fixed. Did only some quick tests today.

think this firmware was more to the Mini then anything else, as always  premature stuff added but not finished

Further research will be needed at my end ,  thanks for asking   now maybe they can listen to the Customer to make a cradle for the DJI mic 2  or release a DJI Mic Pro

they finally allowed for the AOD to be only on the back(main) screen when recording, the Display in Single Screen Preview is the setting you need for it to be only on the back screen

if you toggle it to the right(on) it will display on both the front and back screen, english ain't my native language, can anyone explain to me how the wording means? cause to me it seems to be the complete opposite of what it does.

No update on fixing jittering in rtmp streaming (stabilization), adding higher bitrate options for rtmp or 1080/60 fps rtmp streaming. With this rate we might have a usable wireless camera for streaming december next year

Thanks for sharing! I haven't had a chance to test the new update either, but I'm curious to see if it brings any performance improvements or bug fixes. I'll keep an eye out for any feedback from others here.
