Can you set the Neo's follow-me mode to follow another object like another drone?  

My buddy and i were flying two drones and thought it would be neat if the Neo that he was flying could lock-on and follow the Mini 3.

Hi there, thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, the DJI Neo's Follow Me mode is primarily designed to track a person or a vehicle. It relies on visual recognition and tracking algorithms to follow a specific subject.

It does clarify what it's capable of.  

I've had it follow my dogs a bit, and it works pretty well.

It would be nice to allow the user to select the object that they wish to track - even if it isn't a vehicle or person.  
I will be applying my drone-skin to the Mini 3 soon, maybe having it a more defined/brighter color will allow it to pick it up and track it.  I'll update after I do this.

it's very clear , i don't know why the operators here mistake the functions of neo with the functions of other drones from dji : panorama, hyperlapse, actively tracking other things than humans, ex : cars. that works only in POI and spotlight. as i said in one of my posts, even with ATVs neo strugles to keep up with active track, for bikes it works perfect.
