I just want to use the app to fly my P3... I really don't want to get  notification... Is there a way to trun that off?

which device are you using? apple or android?
apple then go to settings, notifications, dji go then turn it off

If you're referring to system notifications, you can just switch to Airplane mode. Or turn on Do Not Disturb.
