goes black and never returns unless I land and cycle bird off/on. ive tried new sd cards etc.


my last 3.0(bad esc) did same thing.

Seems like a damaged WIFI Board cause it.
I think you need to get it repaired.
Contact the dealer or Does anyone have better idea?

I've experienced this problem recently as well.  I was not in FPV, however, I was shooting RAW photos when I lost the connection and unlike the normal 10 second "black screen",,, camera vision never returned.

Has Dji addressed this issue at all?

When I say "FPV" i meant live view through phone. My fault

Before you do anything, it's good to change both the SD card and try another phone or tablet. That will help isolate the problem. Also, make sure tablet or phone is not connected to or searching for another network (if you are near your home where you usually hook up, etc.)
