So why does it say that X3 camera is not compatible with Inspire?

The camera that comes with the OSMO is NOT compatible with the Inspire.  It has additional locking features that are exclusively for the OSMO.   

I have a theory that it may lack some things present in the Inspire X3 which may be why it is incompatible.   

There is also a price difference and the Inspire camera is more expensive, which to me is further evidence it has something that is missing in the OSMO X3.
